Good place to buy white gloves?

I'm cosplaying as Alucard from Hellsing, and I need a good place to buy gloves from (cotton, so I can put the emblems on them) preferably a store in Wellington, or at least a NZ based online store.

Does anybody know a place? ^_^

Might sound weird, but you could try bridal stores? Failing that, no guarantee for quality, but try look at the warehouse gardening gloves?

Even spotlight from memory has plain white butler style kinds of gloves.

Yeah, 2 Cheap in town has gloves, if they are too crap, try Spotlight, I saw some there the other day.

In Wellington:
Check out Mr Thank You (James Smith Centre) has above-the-elbow acetate-ish ones with ruffles and tiny beads. $10.
Um, that shop in Manners. I think it's Fancy World. $4. Labelled "Silk" but probably acetate, elbow long.
However, I think you WILL be able to write on these if you get the right sort of pen.
There used to be serious fashions for gloves and if you look in second hand stores you can still find some, variety of materials, design, colours and cost. I havn't seen any when I've been second handing lately but that doesn't mean they're not there.

^_^ Thanks everyone. I can't believe how hard it is to find the right material. White gloves aren't all that hard to find, but finding ones I can use design transfer paper is annoying. I'm sure if I hunt around in those places, I'll find something.
