Have you guys talked to bill about it? He may be able to help or have ideas. He would really like to develop the more official cosplay/costume activities and I know some big stuff is planned for Auckgeddon outside usual hours. I'm going to chat with him during and after Ch'Armageddon about it all :)

If anyone would like to make it a big costume party, and get other groups involved (Star Wars, historic, comic book etc etc) please let me know- I can promote it there as well. I know the SCA does a lot of events both in the city and outside and they may have some ideas on who to contact and which names to drop to find a suitable location.
