actually, wow. that method looks awesome, and a lot less hassle than applique onto fabric... i always prefer painting things, i'm better at it than sewing ;;; orz; cheers for the tutorial!

& yeah, but i always work so fast i cut corners. like that. ;; BAD HABIT.

true. ;; there's also some cool-looking girls in the knights of the round which would probably be easier? plus you get a pretty cape <-- totally repeating myself, but that's A-OKAY. <3

and you don't really need to know their backstory 'cause. they have none. they're there to look pretty and regal. 8D

Yeah seriously, with exception of Anya, all the female Knights of Rounds were just there for the sake of being there, they played pretty much no significant role in the story. Having no real backstory and no personality to speak of.

Painting is fun~! I'm a painter more than a sewer >__>
(Actually, I'm an anal painter, but you don't need to know that.)
I painted my sister a t-shirt last year. It was very spiffy.

The only thing that bugs me with fabric paint (apart from being expensive) is that it goes solid and gets cracks in it after time and washes.

fabric paint is like, $9999 a bottle. well, it's not, but it's hideously priced, especially when you have to do large areas like the capes... so screenprinting will probably be more economical anyway. |D

yeah... the stuff i get is around 7-8 bucks a bottle. they last a surprisingly long time, but still not suited for big stuff. i managed to paint like, 5 bleach haoris with one bottle of black. |D

I don't know if I will have enough time and money to actually do it >__>
But if not then I can be Clovis? I'm cosplaying him at Welly too.

Less material = less sewing = less time taken etc xD.

Can someone explain to me Clamp's connection with Code Geass? I know they did character designs, but did they do anything else? CG certainly seems to stink of the heart-breaking brilliance that is Clamp & parallels their other series in some ways. Euuupphieeee.... and Shirleeeey! & Rolo! oh, don't get me started. gonk

as far as i know, they only did the char designs, but i do agree there's just some things in there that are undeniably clamp-ish trademarks. ;

LIKE THE SAD ENDING. ALWAYS A SAD ENDING.

but it's confusing. i would've thought the plot was too complicated for clamp's normal style, so i doubt they would've done most of it...

I think they only just designed the characters. But sometimes the style looks like their's too.
