Ok, I just got back and had to write this down, before I forget...

I had another idea on how to make a collapsing Tardis...

Have a Telescope centre 'Stick' (for lack of a better term) and have the corner pieces with hinges to fold inward...here is my attempt at drawing it with Paint...HERE

With this one, it would be easier to be able to step out of it, and no need to kill ones self with small thin bits of wire, that can flip back at you very quickly...

Sweet, will it stay up on it's own until we want it to collapse? The worst thing would be if we were to be stood in it, ready to get out, and it collapsed around us!!

lol, that would be mean as funny...I mean bad...

If we attach a lock to the Telescope, where so it locks in place once it is up and ready....

My small knowledge of Wood and Metalwork, it could be done with a smaller version of the locks they use on ironing boards and lawnmowers etc...

As I am in Hastings, that is a bit of a hang-up, and even if I make it up to Auckland sooner than October '09 it won't be until Feb, but if you have MSN we could chat about it there...as I am on it near 36 hours a day lol.
