its american, so no borderline perhaps, but yeah cartoon american version of anime but not quite anime if u know wat im getting at, like with totally spies?

But - would it still be eligible to be made into an AMV for the AMV contest though, seeing as it's technically not anime? o_O

I think the AMV contest is limited to things made in Japan only.

It implies only Japanese video games; so I'd say it's the same for animation. ^^;;

lol id have liked to do a totally spies amv, but same problem, its not japanese therefore dosent constitute as anime sad

I usually differentiate them as animated vs anime. Teen Titans I'd class an animated.

That said personally I don't think it would be a major issue for an AMV. Particularly as the armageddon website seems to be happy enough to interchange anime and animation music video for AMV's.

I always considered shows like Teen Titans and Totally Spies to simply be American animation with a Japanese-influenced art atyle. The same also applies to Avatar. That said, I still wouldn't think using a show like that for an AMV would disqualify you from an AMV contest of any sort.

I think it should be fine if you use it in an AMV contest. People use things from video games. Should be all G.

But if you enter those for an AMV competition at 'Geddon you get RAGE xDDD.

Only people who got on nmc would understand it though.

Pure awesome it was. (Basicly, someone complaining about all the shit AMVs at Wellington this year).

I have always considered it cartoon based on anime as well, along with Kappa Mikey ect. It should be ok. There is no rule against it.
