Random Cosplay trip to Rainbows End

UPDATE
The venue and the date/time have been decided upon. Here are the details:

WHEN: Friday 5th December
10AM
WHERE: Rainbows end front gate
WHO: Anybody who wants to come, and who will cosplay
WHAT: Cosplay get-together
COST: Entry fee: For over 14, the entery fee is about $45.

(Bring that, plus whatever for food. If you bring food with you, we can have a picnic ^^)

+ Cost of transport.
We won't charge to be part of the party (That's just wrong lolz)

Cosplay is recomended, but not required. Live a little! Even if you have to recycle cosplays, nobody's gonna care ^^

Spread the word to cosplayers and/or anime/game/manga fans ^^ I wanna see how many people we can get to attend. See if we can't break some sort of record ^^

Story: (For how we came to this conclusion, amongst other things, read on ^^)

On the Sunday of Auckland Armageddon, there was a huge group of us (I think I counted 17 at one point) that went for a walk and headed down into the arcade. We were all chatting on the way back to the event and one way or anther we came up with the idea of having a random cosplay party to further our attmpts at 'taking over the world' (lol).

The idea was that we would figure out a time and a date during the summer school holidays that would suit everyone (or at least most people), and all meet up at Rainbows end in cosplay.

So tell me what you think, and maybe we could all organise it!

(I'd like to thank the group members that helped us all come up with that idea^^)

Aw~ I would love to go! But I go to Rainbow's end wayyyy too much XD
There was a rainbow's end cosplay gathering earlier this year, but im still keen : D

I might be keen, depending. Rainbows End is so expensive and so boring XD

The boring would go away with the cosplay. I understand that RE is expencive, but how much does it cost? I'm not sure... I just thought it would be interesting to make a vid of all the people in cosplay acting as if it's noting out of the ordinary... That was my idea anyway ^^ New Zealand needs more attractions... We were thinking Wiawera at first, but then realised that would require us to get wet... then there was the sky tower... but it was deemed to be too boring...

Hehe I know, but I'd only really go if a lot of people went. I get really shy if I don't know anyone ^^;

Yeah, it'd only be fun if there were loads of us... We could have mini skits and stuff. We could just all hang out somewhere with a stage and just make fools of ourselves... you don't have to be shy in cosplay, nobody would recognise you!!
