The Waikato University Cosplay Club are holding a Cosplay Picnic this Saturday at the Hamilton Gardens. It starts at 11am and will run until around 4pm.

PICNIC WILL GO AHEAD REGARDLESS OF RAIN - BRING AN UMBRELLA AND PLAN COSTUMES ACCORDINGLY.

MEETING PLACE
We'll be meeting at the courtyard with the fountain in the middle at the entrance to the Paradise Gardens and Fantasy Gardens. In the map, it's the circle area by 8c, next to the black building (the map is from this link: http://hamiltongardens.co.nz/visit/hamilton-gardens-map/) If you park at the main Gate One carpark, head towards the big red triangle arch. Walk through that, past the toilets on the left and the Cafe on the hill on the right and you'll come to the Information Centre. To the left of the Information Centre is a gate (which will be open), go through the gate and over the bridge and you'll come to the meeting place.

FOOD
Please bring some food to share! We'll put the food together on one of the tables in the Italian Renaissance Garden and nibble throughout the day. If you do bring drink, please bring cups (or arrange for someone else in your group to bring cups).

GENERAL RULES
This is a family event and we want everyone to feel comfortable and have a good time.
The Gardens are a smoke free zone, no smoking in the Gardens.
No alcoholic beverages please.
Be careful with weapons - we'd prefer that you left them at home, but if you do bring any, make them con safe please. Red tape on gun tips and no real weapons. No airsoft or BB guns please.
Keep things PG-13 - some members of the community will be bringing children with them.
This may be the first time some members of the public have encountered cosplayers, lets make a good impression.
