So, this year at Hamilton Armageddon is going to be awfully interesting. MY two cosplays are Faith Connors and a Witch from Left 4 Dead 2. Faith is obviously going to take less work than the Witch so I have already begun my adventure into recreate the witch.

So here's the wig in it's form at the moment. I am currently sewing in grey lowlights to add more oomph and pizazzzzzzzz.

Here are my contact lenses for the witch. Hehehehehehehehhehe. I am yet to try them on but I am ever so excited.

So here's a collage of my wig in it's early stages. But also, you will see the start process of my chest gashes I am making with liquid latex (and the AMAMAMAMAZING skratch helped me too). And also, there is my black snazaroo that (unfortunately the store didn't have grey so we went with black) will be mixed with white to reproduce the sickly grey the witch has.

No, not really.

Attempted a tea-dye of my Witch costume....and....nope. Janola and bleach and I will be starting over.

Unless I was going for poo-brown and blotchy....but I am not.

God damn that came out awesome in the photos!!!

I'll blend the red eyeliner out a bit more next time as well, it's looking just a bit too blocky here, but hey, this is why we do practise runs. I'll also line your waterline in red, this will REALLY give you that infected diseased look. And with the eyeshadow primer, the dark brown will stick to the under parts of your eye more to make it look more baggy, and I'll add a hint more purple for a bruised effect.

That last pic looks soooo much like a painting!!!

Not the lord my dear, but the cosplay gods. And you must always thank the cosplay gods or they will smite you with procrastination, sewing machine malfunctions, or over priced material. I've recently been smitten with over priced furry material lol.

Progresssss!

So Faith's whole costume is finished! The Witch has some minor things to do such as the claws (which I will do this week) and dying the ends of my white wig. Other than that, I am done! I'm the most horrid procrastinator but dang, I have done so well at not doing that.

Here's me being weird. My camera battery is on charge and I only got this pic in before it pooped. I am getting my contact wearability up whilst in my Faith cosplay.

Okay, so I have been playing with a bit of the Worbla I ordered a few weeks ago. I have been staring at it for weeks; too scared to touch it. But after doing some pattern drafting and deciding it is time to have a crack at it, I have!

So, I am doing a rendition of Phantom Assassin's 3 gauntlet/brace things:

And so far here is the right arm. Only one of them is in the 'tiny freaking annoying bits to sculpt omfg' stage but it is going well. Here's the progress.

I am going to go hunting at Ajays Emporium for some pleather and buckles and such as referenced here...

...it seems PA has pleather links between the underneath of the gauntlets (if that makes sense).

That's right folks; I did more things. Seriously, I have never done so much in my life. When I find something or someone I am really avid on cosplaying; you seriously can't stop me. I feel so pumped for this cosplay. sO PUmpED.

So I kinda knew that all my cosplay plans wouldn't be happening next year due to new found commitments, but lets just say I am doing pretty well to kill most of them off while in the school holidays. All my patterns for a side project I am working on are ordered, Phantom Assassin is started, Spock has a pattern (now it's just choosing materials) and all my other cosplays have at least one element completed on them! Yay! I have never been so organised in my life!

Hey guys. This is a crucial update posty thingy.

So because I have come into some luck in the last few months with new opportunities, I have to replan and rethink my cosplay schedule. I will not be able to create all of the cosplays I initially knew I could do because of my newly found hectic schedule. I am really sad about that, but I still have plenty of years to do them! But for the mean time, I will still have cosplays being created and built this year, just not the amount initially wanted AND I will be having to change some of the characters sad

I will still be debuting Steampunk!Harley Quinn during the year for sure as I have just about finished. But I have been rearranging the original list and will post it as soon as I have sorted it out.

With change comes alteration. Smile

I have created a huge and bloody hammer for this cosplay and some steampunk goggles too. The pattern is here and ready, I just need to cut it out and pick the materials. Little accessories will be created too. Pictures will be up asap!)
