Haha okay so aside from my nerdyness I am sewing like a maniac trying to finish everything for geddon so here goes my progress, all stations on red alert!

I like to update with pictures but probably won't upload images once I'm finished cause you'll just have to find me on the day.

I'm making moon for Tammy to wear for the group 8D idek when I'll wear moon, sometime later as a fill in costume? lol

No I believe I could have done with more but I ran out. I have bent so many frikken pins working on things I'll probably have to get more.

Stardate 2801.13

So I was going to keep going with a cool startrek style post but I got lazy, anywho progress yay. My camera decided to delete half of my progress photos which is REALLY annoying!

I've been working away on Astrid who is about halfway done I'd say just the last things are quite time consuming.

Her skirts are done and I just need to make the spikes and skulls to attach on

I'm currently handsewing her top together at the moment in a very defined way that hopefully looks viking like

Cersei's progress is going quite slow as I'm making sure everything is right/perfect before I do it which means a million mockups, plus having to write it up at the same time. Not going to show too much of her overall to keep it a suprise and also because my camera deleted these bits (really unhandy for my application but eh)

To start off is a mockup of her sleeves, mostly just to show length (these things are over a meter each they are beasts). I've changed the design a bit and lengthened them but you get the idea.

It's my first time doing anything so early and it's pretty constant progress so it feels great!

Thanks, I'm actually enjoying how Astrid it rather simple but cool looking!

Last progress shots for idk how long this is going to take far too long but I'm all set to marathon Barbie movies and Sailor Moon in the meantime!

Hey does anyone have any ideas on how to paint/screenpaint a lot of fabric with small circles, kind of like a polka dot pattern, sort of like this:

I have a basic idea but cutting millions of circles into plastic doesn't sound too fun.

Get a sponge, cut it into a circle shape and then paint splodge it on Razz

Or get some duraseal and cut a circle out of it and then paint into the circle? I did that for my hetalia rainbow dress design Razz

I did a bit of cleaning up afterwards, but it saves you from trying to get the shape right each time. You'll go through a few templates, but each one lasts for a few circles Razz

With the sponge method the circles aren't as crisp so would need more touching up than the duraseal method. I s'pose regardless most methods would be a bit time consuming

Well I have to paint 9m of fabric with tiny tiny circles so I'm sure it's not going to be fast any way I try really.

I know I said I wouldn't post again but hah I lied because this progress is too cool and time consuming not to post.

Currently embroidering Cersei's sleeves 1/8 down, this process takes far too long and I still need to fill it in. But I'm rather proud considering it's my first time doing this.

Cersei's lining/gold, it's got a pattern of sorts on it that looks like circles (though I can't quite see exactly what it is I'm just going to use circles).

I wasn't able to find anything with a pattern in the type of fabric I wanted so have to paint it.

Been working on Cyrus and Reese from animal crossing new leaf. Have most of the aprons done to photograph tomorrow but in the meantime my first real epic wig styling adventure: A POMPADOUR! It came out really well I'm really proud.
