Bought exactly $14.82 nzd from Aliexpress
The bangs were cut

Materials used~

-Plain Mask
-White and Black poster paint for covering it up
-Paintbrushes
-Liquid Glue
-A pack of tiny tubes of paint (about 12 colours)
-Newspaper and scrap
-Cardboard for ears

Steps~

- I cut out the nose to try flatten the area for the eyes because I decided to use the forehead of the mask for the mouth instead
- Paper Mache 
- Made the ears' shape by cutting 2 triangles out of cardboard and rolled pieces of paper for the indents, then taping them on
- Paper Mache again ~w~
- Painted it black because sister said so >but> HUGE mistake .....it took 4 layers of white paint because having black under it made it look gray  
-Drafted face with pencil
-Paint~
-DONE  

I wanted to fold the fabric for the obi instead of cutting it since I may want to re-use it someday.
The gray fabric I bought from Spotlight and the obi fabric I bought from John's Emporium and + its a stretchy type of material (still a noob in fabric ~.~)
I watched The Cosplay Chronicles' tutorial to make it ^^

For the sandals, I wasn't really sure what Gin was wearing so I just decided to use my friend's platform sandals that she let me borrow (she cosplayed as Hotaru with me ^^, username - CutieMeow)
It was also pretty helpful to making me, atleast a little taller (I'm tiny! xO)

Will be doing the cosplay photoshoot with my Hotaru sometime in the holidays! (i guess ? .~.)

The main reason why we decided to cosplay the two from Hotarubi no mori e was pretty much because we were going to Auckgeddon on sunday and the Masquerade ball was on the same day .U.
It was ok but we didn't really meet anyone since we were always moving around and didn't try to approach anybody...some people kind of recognised our characters....but only some owwo
I am looking forward for next year's and hoping that we'd actually come with a group instead of being such loners T.T
Before it was going to end, we went outside to take some pictures. It was dark so most came out blurry and above^ is just some of them ~w~.

Ok soo when I first got the wig, the bangs were too long (like, Mikasa long ~w~) so I had to cut it and got the above result ><
It looks ok when I just tie my hair up and put it on (like the above pic^) but when I do the whole wig cap thing, it just doesn't look right owo.....my head'll look bigger since my real hair is quite long and pinning it all over doesn't even help .~.
But the wig is rather nice tho! ~w~
The length is 12 inches and I bought it from Aliexpress for $13 nzd

What I did was pretty much was just measured a spare plain headband and covered it with mustard yellow fabric I bought from spotlight ^^

The armband, I decided to make it myself since I had some red fabric left that I wanted to use up .v.
What I did was~

-measured my biceps
-drew out the pattern, cut out the fabric and sew
-print out the characters out from word and made sure it was big enough
-cut it out with a blade
-traced it onto the fabric with my dad's huge permanent marker pen

the shoes broke when I wore it to the school's Halloween mufti day -O-~~~
so...I will have to complete Haruhi once I get some brown school shoes
