[Sas's Sketchbook] My own worst critic

Well I love having a nosey at everyone else's sketchbooks and being inspired, so I decided it's time I got round to starting my own :)
(which has gotten off to a lengthy start Razz

)

I'm always keen to hear feedback, so If you've got any suggestions for me I'd love to hear them :)

So to start:
A nice long picture list of cosplays I'd like to have a go at in the future.
(Though admittedly some of the more complex ones will have to wait until I have more skills/money. But hey, costs nothing to dream right? Razz

)

Slytherin Robe

My 'Slytherin Look' that I put together for a party but didnt have a robe for sad

Pattern - nearly finished making one based off my dressing gown (Yea I'm being finicky and don't want to do a simple T Robe)
Materials - Bought more black fabric cos I didnt have enough.
- Need to buy more green fabric for lining cos I don't have enough.
Patch - still need to buy
Wand - designed and halfway through making a prototype in clay. Waiting to see if clay will be sturdy and light enough.

Diamonds - All sewn on
Collar - Need to make a new one (Old one was a bit rushed and I hate it now Razz

)
Cowl - needs some tweaks to make it fit better. Will be easier when I get my hands on a mannequin head.
Shoulder - have a slight bump at the join that I'd like to flatten out.
Makeup - Do more makeup tests. Ideally get some new ( but still cheap) white facepaint and make a proper mask.
Hammer - Need to procure some craft foam to make one :)

If Id known you wanted to do Sucker Punch I would have invited you into our group this year!!

Awesome, perhaps we should gather up another couple of meddling kids at some stage :)

aw, that woulda be cool, no worries though. :)
Its probably for the best any way cos I have a very strict budget atm and am trying to limit my cosplay expenditure Razz

(hence why I'm currently only making upgrades to some of my pre-existing costumes and not starting entirely new projects).

Been awhile since I updated so enjoy these hilariously badly drawn concepts and the final products (which turned out much better) Razz

Firstly, got distracted from making my slytherin robe by an Alice in Wonderland party which lead me to produce this:
