Hiya, everyone. I'm from Auckand and I would love to meet up with fellow NZ cosplayers. I am no Otaku but let me name my top favorite manga/anime :3

Naruto
Skip Beat
Bleach
Nodame Cantabile

I don't think I've ever seriously cosplayed before (frankly those people who do it for a profession or has a lot of passion of it, I have most respect for and am quite awed by the lovely photos and the uncanny similarity). The closest cosplay I've done is probably Misa Misa from Death Note and it's just because she dresses like a gothic lolita.

I'm just looking to find people with similar interests to go to Auckgeddon this October. Drop me a greeting if you come across this post :)

@vefalasiel: Nodame Cantabile inspired me to play piano again :) It's about the eccentricity of musicians and how they aspire to become world-renown musicians or in the main heroine's case trying to steal the heart of a handsome conductor, Chiaki. She's quite a kooky character: messy, an Otaku and wants to be a school teacher. Even so, Chiaki saw her rare musical quality, and kept pushing her to be a professional musician instead of letting her take the easy road. He's also in serious denial about his feelings for her.

And I think I have seen you many times with your wonderful awe-inspiring cosplay pieces and might I add awesome skits!

@ox0kristen0xo: Yay! Someone who reads and loves Skip Beat. I don't think anyone has ever cosplayed characters from Skip Beat! What else do you like?

(And I'm typing soo quickly cuz I'm trying not to get in trouble for work!)

Thanks! :) Whoa, you're in South Auckland! I thought there was no one in South who cosplays cuz we're so far away from everyone... (I'm in Papakura you see).

Hehe. Thanks! I have been doing it for a while so yeah, you probably would have. And who knows, I might have actually met you before.

Hi~ Skip Beat & Nodame Cantabile <333333333 They're so well done. I can't even count the number of times I've re-watched the Nodame live-action. So good <333

I also always go to Auckgeddon but I'm usually just hanging around in cosplay XDD
