I'm Researching PSN and Xboxlive for my media, and it'd really help if you would answer some questions~
VIRTUAL COOKIES FOR PEOPLE WHO DO THIS chuu~!

1. Do you feel safe using the Network? (any reasons in particular?)
2. Do you disclose your credit information?

Thanks if you do this~!

I can answer both, but only PSN vaguely as I don't tend to actually use it for online gaming.

1. Do you feel safe using the Network? (any reasons in particular?)
XBL: Most definitely, doesn't matter if I'm on a xbox or on a weeb browser I am quite confidently safe browsing teh XBL marketplace or Playing games over Live with people. Xbox has a great social gaming community even if you have to pay for it. In some cases more the merrier.

PSN: Only if I'm using a app or Playstation device to browse the store or what not. Online play I think I'd be all right with it. I haven't actually tried it, so I can't really say.

2. Do you disclose your credit information?
XBL: Yes, as it makes payment easily and is more convenient to me. Leaving the house pssssh.

PSN: After that attack woooosh nope. I will actually go and leave the safety of my home to go an get a card to redeem on PSN so I can buy things now.

PSN: Yes I feel safe using the service even with the recent attack on the system's online, I feel that sony has done enough to make me feel secure after the breach.

Yes but very reluctantly knowing that the card I put in expired a month before the attack, however if another breach were to happen I would just resort to using PSN cards

Hope this helps you Smile

PSN: Yeah, I feel pretty safe, cause hackers can't take any useful personal information BECAUSE

I don't use credit, I've only used the vouchers.

PSN user here.

1. Do you feel safe using the Network? (any reasons in particular?)
Yup, I play a number of my games offline anyways and whenever I do play online it's usually with friends.

2. Do you disclose your credit information?
I use a debit card that I have to go to the bank to top up so I'm not too fussed about it. My card had expired just before the Playstation Network had its infamous crash. I mainly use the vouchers nowadays anyway because I'm too lazy to go to the bank and I can grab the vouchers from work.

Now to go back to sulking because New Zealand didn't get the DLC for Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3.

Xbox Live...

1. Do you feel safe using the Network? (any reasons in particular?)
Yup, I don't think I've ever felt unsafe. I agree with Hyolee that the XBL gaming community is pretty friendly in general.

2. Do you disclose your credit information?
I don't have my own credit card, so it's cards/vouchers for me. But if I did have one I would still feel safe about using it for subscription [payment.
