Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

... So I'm all kinds of excited. The gameplay looks super-fast and I looove fast games, and yaaay, Riku! You can never get enough Riku. Anyone else looking forward to it?

also this game sooo means I'm going to buy a 3DS.

OH EM GEE. THAT LOOKS STUNNINGLY EPIC.
I've REALLY gotta get off my bum and finish KH1 and play through all of them. Kingdom Hearts is AWESOME!! 8D 8D

Also, this game and OoT are two games that make me want to buy a 3DS. XD;;

I wonder why they put this game on the 3DS, rather than PS3... Sure, 3D capabilities, but even so.
I'm not complaining. xD Hopefully the 3DS will be cheaper than PS3 is. xD;;

^ KH3 will be on PS3, this game is just another remake of KH1 by the looks of it, so they plonk it on the 3DS. Not to mention a lot of the quirks about it will be using the 3D screen. Still, the trailer looks cool and I'll most likely play it, if I can ever afford a 3DS haha~

(I forgot how cute everyone is in the first game, eeee!)

I'd also like to have whatever the stuff the guy who named this game had. It's a pretty unique name for a game.

It's a pretty catchy alliteration.
I was like eeee<3Riku is playable but then it's on 3DS~ pssh.
And as Tails said, looks mighty similar.

I'd play it though, because the 3D thing sounds interesting.

re: 3DS. Murk told me that Nintendo have issued warnings about playing for more than 30 min at a time, because it can damage your eyes, haha. The way it'll work is that they're going to have a dial on the side you can adjust for more or less depth. They're going to install a thing that tells you "hey, you've been playing at this setting for too long ~~go outside and get real life 3D fools~~"... apparently. Razz

re game. Aw yeah, Traverse Town. I was pretty fond of the place actually hahaha. Agreed on the fast gameplay thing, looks great. Love me some action! Also, Xemnas appearance? physics yeah. You know what that means, Pyro. Paul St. Peter. 8D

As for whether or not I'll get it, hrrmmm. Dunno. It looks interesting for sure, but 3DS will surely be expensive and doubly so for the games that intrigue me so far on that console (being a grand total of two... so far?).

It's not a KH1 remake-- it's the story of Sora and Riku taking their Mark of Mastery exam. Why they're in their KH1 outfits hasn't been stated yet, but based on the title... maybe dreams are a platform for the exam, since they're malleable and they'd make a good replacement for the old test. Other than the title, we have Sora and Riku's parallel villains fighting with them again even though they're both dead/recombined into Xehanort, which seems to indicate it takes place in sooome other reality.

^ I just said by the looks of it, I didn't say it was definitely a remake. And sounds like Birth by Sleep is getting a sequel too. Will KH3 ever happen? ^^;

Every time I see Square Enix coming out with a new Kingdom Hearts game that isn't KH3, I die a little inside.

Edit: Also from now on, this game will be called (in my head) Kingdom Herp: Derp Derp Derpherp. It matches up with the syllables and everything.

But then again they just sorta left Traverse town and never went back sort of thing P:

I only know PS3 is better fro graphics and the 360 is better for it's sound capabilities. So they're pretty much even xD

I plan on getting a 3Ds when it comes out. But warnings every 30 minutes DDD8 That would just be sad. To get one section nicely dusted and finished could take me up to 2 hours. And the amount of time I've clocked up on KH:BBS is already a lot Vens 43hours alone. I don't know how I can take a break every 30 minutes. o_o

There's a slider on the 3DS which can adjust its depth. You just need to play 2D for a bit. That's all.

I actually find it amusing that all of a sudden the bits that surround KH1 and KH2 are coming out and help you understand the story better. But KH:DDD doesnt make any sence to me at all. I like it that you can play as Sora and Riku but to me how dos this contrubute to the story line. I will never get a PS3 as long as I am home nor a 3DS, but gettign the games and waiting to play them will make me better.

Also it should be on 360. I don't own any 360 games (KH3 I mean)

The TGS demo has two parts. In Sora’s episode, you start in Traverse town. Sora calls for Riku, but finds Neku instead who is hanging from a roof. He jumps down and shows Sora the number on his hand and mentions he needs a partner to play the Reapers’ game with.

the only spin offs of KH Iv'e ever looked foward two had to be the birth by sleep ones, they gave a better insight to the lore of the game and it also tide up a few loose ends, however this game seems interesting, so I may get a 3DS for just it also when you think about it isn't really a spin off, its more or less a prologue to kh3 which we all know is NEVER coming out.
