Hiya~
I'm new to CNZ, and cosplaying in general.
I'm found around the outskirts of the Manawatu and is very rare to come across in the wild.
My first cosplay was at Wellygeddon '11, and I went as Matryoshka Gumi on the Sunday. I was the one with a sling. orz.

Nice to meet all of you!~
I hope I can find some local friends on here, that'd be awesome.

just keep an eye out in the NCIS section. Sometimes people organise a meet and we normaly just hang around town and do shoots. :]
Most of the times it's in the holidays so you could wait until someone bothers to organise it, or you can organise one if you want! Very Happy

yup it's fine if you don't know anyone. That's what meetups are for! Meeting new people and hanging about. And it's fine who you cosplay as, I sometimes do closet costumes if Im feeling lazy or have nothing to wear. Sometimes few people cosplay from the same series to do a shoot, but it doesn't really matter. It's mostly about meeting the cosplayers!
