Had a vaguely-productive cosplay session with John.
Both shoes are stitched, one is white and awaiting black detailing, and the other one is still to be painted.
My Harley mask is cut out and just needs to be painted.

Still to do:

Paint mask
Pick up the rest of the cosplay from Mandie
Find a burlap sack or something to use as a bag throughout the day
Paint right Conrad shoe
Paint the black parts of both shoes
Find short-sleeved white shirt
Fake blood (to be made on the day/the day before)

What time does it start?
If it's 9am I'll head over for 8:20am ish but if it's 10 I probably won't go until 9.30am for even later...

Gosh isn't everybody gonna be a bit early?...the event runs from 10am to 5pm. I wasn't even planning to get there until ten lol. I hope the line won't be too long, I'd hate to be standing outside waiting if it ends up being cold or wet.

Well, John's mother is working there, so she HAS to be there at nine xDD

urgh, Mum is being a pain over shoe painting >: I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF WE HAVE WHITE ACRYLIC PAINT. HOW IS THAT SO HARD.

Yeah, I'll probably get there around 8.45ish? No point being too early XD Especially in winter when it is COLD out!

I have to be there by 9:30 for Drawfest.

And I'm currently several hours behind schedule. That is what I get for sleeping til 11:30am and then running off to see DotM >.>

SUCCESS. My father (who actually likes me cosplaying. He thinks it's kind of weird, but cool, lol) has provided me with white spray paint. For the black... there's heaps of black paint about.

ANOTHER THING TO ADD TO MY TO-DO LIST.

Should be able to finish AA later today. Just have trims to add and yellow socks to buy (if I can find any, seriously I've been to a lot of shops and none of them sell yellow socks. The closest I can get are yellow and black rugby socks or ochre and black striped crew socks.)

Still have a lot to do for Perceptor though.

Daisy is 100% complete now.

Fujio's head is done, I'm about to cut out and sew his smock.

Lizzie is 95% done - just need to touch up the boots & trim the wig.

I'm finished!! Well 99% finished, I just need to glue my heart onto the cardboard backing and manage to find some of my spare brooch pins and I'm set!

I just remembered I have to make the most important part of one of my cosplays! (How on earth could I forget the Doctor's fez??!!)

I've got everything done except the pin for the back of my brooch. I've got everything laid out already so I don't forget anything. I'm so glad that I have a bag for my saturday cosplay so I can put everything I need in it. Also my wig finally arrived so I can go as Usagi rather than Minako on saturday.

Dr - I think I'll be joining you at arriving at 8:30. :)
