An attempt at being organised.

I am known well for my lack of organisation skills. I shall attempt to remedy this by proposing an around town trip to pick up fabric, second hand clothing and whatnot for my Armageddon cosplays which have recently been booted up my priority list.
As I hate to look like a loner, I would love for some other, perhaps more organised people, to join me on this venture. I hope to do it this weekend, but as it is relatively short notice, I do not mind if I have to postpone it for a week or so.
If anyone is also in a similar predicament, likes to hang out with others, or is just plain bored and looking for something to do for the afternoon, then please leave a comment below and include when you could possibly make it.

**EDIT: I remembered I have a heck of a lot of homework this weekend, so it will have to be next week or the week after....

If you wait until next weekend I might join you. I have a few little things to pick but I'm not sure of how much. I'll be working on my cosplays this weekend and I should be able to come up with a list of things needed.

If we do this next weekend, then I might join in. I need to pick up a ton of craft foam and styrene, and maybe some paint. =O

well sadly there arn't many places in the CBD that are open... but if this (or another event similar) is going to happen on the weekend after NZAE then I sure am keen to join in the fun ^_^

If this happened not next weekend (48 hour crazy film making) but the next I would be keen.

I totally frogot about the NZAE.... Whoops.....
I will now put it off until at least the weekend after so as to not inconvenience the people attending NZAE who will furiously be finishing these cosplays. I will revive this after the NZAE, and see who can make it.

I will be shopping tomorrow morning/early afternoon anyway. So if anyone wants a ride? I am going to leave for spotlight about 11am, and then knutwells, then I guess back home. But I can drop people at hands/fabric vision on the way back.

ok, finally I have a plan. This coming Saturday, I will (hope) to have a gathering in which we can do fabric shopping, wandering of whatever part of town isn't going to crush us or just talking and stuff. If you are eager to join in, please post. comments that have ideas for a meeting point will be much appreciated.

I hope to have all my buying done by then. Like Sakura I will be sewing. And Sunday I will be making board games.

As for places to go fabric is in spotlight and kutwells in Sydenham, haralds and fabric house in Riccartion and fabric vision in Papanui. Also Bernina in Papanui for misc stuff, or that sewing shop in Riccarton. Crafts is in spotlight and Elmwood. So lacking a car I would say Southcity/spotlight is your best bet. With a bus or car then either Riccarton or Papanui/Elmwood are reachable. But probably not both in the time you have.
