Pokemon games

I had actually planned quite a few years back to do something along the lines of that sort of thing at an armageddon expo running in parallel with the main tournament, but it was not really a viable option since it would end up being restricted to a rather small pool of players, and those who volunteered to be the "gym leaders" would end up either busy the entire expo or run the risk of being pestered during their off times. It ended up not being viable for a 2-3 day expo.

im think of this as a year long thing where the gym leaders are free on the days of the expo since they are only needed to get into the tournament and as it would run the whole year the number of people that would get into the main tournament would be more than just a small amount
and as for being pestered those who volunteer to be gym leaders would expect it as its what they signed up for

Na that's cool. I considered getting an r4 off of mighty ape, because it's about $60. But then i haggled the price down and got a regular one for about $70. Problem is I wont get it till release day, and each day I grow more impatient >.<

Im pretty sure you can get r4/acekards off trademe for a lot cheaper. They just dont come with a micro sd card....

As I've stated in the What Are You Playing thread I downloaded Black for me and White for the girlfriend. This is probably the most fun I've had with a Pokemon game since Gold/Silver came out on the GBC. Later iterations were fun but they didn't really grab me like Blue/Red/Gold/Silver did.

I'm finding myself totally immersed in Black and I'm loving it.

And to anyone who has an R4 and Acekard2 they work on both. Just make sure you download the version where the Pokemon gain exp. Also make sure your R4 has the latest Wood firmware.

I love hearing positive things about black and white =D and that you've said you've found it the most captivating game since gen 2, just builds on that. Basically 3 days to go till i too can experience it!
