@Kariana Can you tell me how far they go once you start using them? : D. I want to get some, but don't know how much I can do with one pack.

Nice bag! Where did you find a colour ref pic? I couldn't find one at all and have no idea how the colours were supposed to be. Good job with the beads too. I was almost going to do something like that till I got lucky on trademe

Geiger-spine complete!
I was purposefully pulling a stupid face!
Spoiler:
And the back
And the spine itself
Now all I need to do is figure out how to wrap a saree without tripping the hell over it ALL THE TIME. Considering making a prosthetic for my cybernetic implants....

Yesterday was a good day for progress. I got the plastic I needed for my wings, plaster to make a heart mould for my Usgai High school uniform cosplay and resin to make the hear brooch out of said mould.
Anne also came round and we started making (read: cutting out and sewing) her cosplay. It was interesting times - see this video I took of her play with one of her skirts.
I don't even.

Telephone dress is done! I discovered after sitting down a couple of times, plastic rips when sewn So instead I'm using double sided tape It holds the plastic together perfectly and means I move pretty easily. Also, sorry I don't have any pictures guys D: My camera has gone walkabouts

Bought fur and denim for Weregarurumon. I was gonna stick with just the semi-short fur cause the REALLY long fur I liked was $60p/m. The short fur + denim only cost $100 so got a half metre of the long stuff >> Yay for spotlight discount stuff.

Nah. It was the spotlight members Spend $100 or more and get $40 off thing. It's the only reason I bought fur.

Where did you get the voucher? Me and a friend are going in tomorrow and are planning to spend a decent amount so it could be useful~

@Pura: Thanks for that! I might do mine the same...
Progress: started Kanda's wig. 2-3 hours of freaking out later I have a stubbed wig:
Spoiler:
Nowhere near as smoothly pulled up as I hoped to be able to do but it looks ok. Mmmm, some of those random hairs will need trimming.
I'll start adding extensions to the stub tomorrow.

Re: General Progress By damian. 20/02/11, 10:40 am
i am never gonna do detailed armour again, one piece made me wanna stab myself in the eyes
Spoiler:
the one on the right is the rough sketch on the paper that i taped to my leg, one on the left is the proper pattern with all the detailing worked out. (plus notes cause i can't tell what is raised or not sometimes... /fail) took an hour just for the rough sketch, and another hour to detail it properly. fml it felt so much longer e______e
.... who am i kidding? i'm gonna forget this and plan detailed armour again sometime next year or sth.
