Craft foam sheets???

This has prob been asked before but does anyone know where to get sheets of craft foam????
ive checked most stores in my area but cant find any sad

Depends on what size you want but most Asian dollar stores carry A4 sheets of craft foam in packets of 4 for about $2 each. They are called EVA foam or something like that, just wander to the part where they keep all their craft stuff. sweatdrop

Yeah, if you want the A4 sheets, then just about any asian store/$2 shop/ware house will have them.

If you're looking for bigger bits, I know Para Rubber sells some EVA stuff at about $11 for a 1x2m piece (but don't shoot me if I'm wrong, since it's been a while since I've checked in with Para Rubber D8)

They sell them at Warehouse Stationary stores across the country, under the name 'EVA boards'. You can get 10 of them for about $4.50.

Gordon Harris had foam like the EVA foam (prolly the same thing, but I bought ages ago, never checked the name, and it got thrown out I think cause my cat ate it ): ). I think it was a biggish sheet for a few dollars. Dunno if there's a Gordon Harris down there though xP

... If all else fails, I'm sure someone would be happy to buy you some and post it down if you transfer them money : P

dollar stores and such will be the cheapest option, places such as warehouse stationary and gordan harris are usually twice the price for a veeeery similar product

most craft foam will be in funky colours
so painting them is usually needed, just make sure to seal them first as the foam absorbs the paint

Failing that, I have bought it by the metre from Payless Plastic - I think it was 1.5m wide and about $20/m or something? My memory is pretty foggy though. :3 EVA foam and craft foam are pretty much the same thing.

To change the colour, you can seal it with PVA glue then use any kind of paint over it. However, sealing it with PVA will greatly reduce the flexibility, so you can change the colour without loosing flexibility by spray painting it. It'll be quite a matte colour though (as opposed to a glossy look - you can't get a glossy look without sealing it afaik).
