cosplay speech ideas?

hey everybody
so I am doing a speech on cosplay (yay) for english and its has to be be some what demonstrative (is that even a word)
so I have a fair idea of what basic sorts of things you need to know to make a cosplay but do any of you have any ideas on what sort of thing I could explain about in it (if that makes sense)
I'm going to explain about what it is, how you can figure out who you want to cosplay, if you are going to buy/commison/sew your cosplay and basic details about each
I also have a lot of different props that I can show and if you know of any pictures I could use that would also be great

Are you allowed to show a slideshow during your speech? Images could help a lot with explaining~

always good to go into the 'what is cosplay' part first to set the basic grounds for the topic~

It'd take a long time to explain how to make a costume, so maybe just go with a general idea of how things work. Like from finding your character, then dissecting the design for how you'd go about making it. Then getting patterns/fabrics/materials for it.

You could always talk about the different aspects of cosplay like photos shoots, competitions and cons etc.

edit: oh LOL, that doom train face is still the best, we need to do a facials battle or something xD

Talk about how easy it can be... and how easy it is to make friends! How people of any age can do it and it can range from just wearing a hat or a full blown costume!
