AMV Section...
Post By BlackOperationz. 07/11/09, 08:26 pm

I was just wondering if there could be a Sub Section in the Entertainment Spot.. where People that have AMV's or anything can Post their Videos in.. Um.. Something that would look like this.. I have an Example in another Forum..

http://animetalk.forumotion.com/the-amv-section-c12/?sid=eeb6bafccc5b9bbbe2c36b0fe7124ac1

So Like..

-Entertainment.
-Anime Music Videos
-AMV General Discussion
-Full AMV's
-Mini-AMV's
-Betas
-Beta Battle - BB
-IC - Amv Battle
-Multi Editor Project - MEP
-Collaborative - AMV

Then inside them.. would be your Topic's where People can Put a Single AMV Project inside Each section for people to comment I don't know.. if you get my meaning or not.. Just check that link out..

Is pretty much where all the amv stuff goes
I dunno if our amv community here on cnz is even big enough to make a section like that worth it.

We're generally loathe to hand out more subforums as it makes a forum layout look really messy, especially as (in the grand scheme of things) these forums are rather small - not to mention that these forums are about cosplay, not about AMV making. :) You're welcome to post AMV stuff in the artist's alley forum though.

I know what you are saying..
And I hope I aint starting an Arguement or anything.. just that AMV's are also entertainment worthy as well as Art.. the reason I am asking for this.. is that in the Artist section.. It can become messy when wanting to Post more than one video in the same thread since it makes things Hella Big and loosing Track of things..

Ok now that i re looked at my post.. The thread didn't come out how wanted it..
I will make the change right here for you.. in a different way

-Entertainment.
--Anime & Manga
--Literature & Comics
--Music
--Movies/TV
--Video Games
--Anime Music Videos

Inside the Anime Music Videos Section

---AMV General Discussion
---Full AMV's
---Mini-AMV's
---Betas
---Beta Battle - BB
---IC - Amv Battle
---Multi Editor Project - MEP
---Collaborative - AMV

Then inside each of those... would be where people would Place their Topics..

I know that this is a place for Cosplay. and I know I do not have a right for this.. But I am looking for Bringing the AMV community in New Zealand up...
Since there are not many people In this Country that edit AMV's to a level that I do.. and I want to teach those.. and give them a chance to be able to post their stuff so that we do not have to go all over youtube to find them, or through the artist section either...

All I am asking before you decide is to at least consider it and talk it over.

Please and thank you.

Seems like overkill to me. We don't have a large enough AMV community on this site to warrant that large of a section. What we have has worked for us thus far. Why fix what isn't broken? Artist's alley is sufficient.

You're asking for eight amv subforums - that's about eight times more subforums than any of our other forums have - not to mention more forums than we have for cosplay (if you don't count conventions). I'm sorry, but the answer is still no - these are cosplay forums, not amv forums - the other forums we have are 'bonus features', if you will. If you're looking for a place to boost an NZ AMV community, why not start your own forum? :) Forumotion is our host, and is very user-friendly to customise, if a little buggy from time to time, and you'd be welcome to post a thread in the plugging section to advertise the forum. n_n

Then how do I create a forum where I can do that?

Thing is, to me, AMV ISN'T very big. I know you are trying to boost it and all, but having huge amounts of forum space dedicated to something that isn't very popular is a waste of space, and very unfair for more popular parts (like to me drawing and art is far more poular).

I could just be biased because I don't like amv's though.
