Okay, well, I have Kayako Saeki from The Grudge movies on my to do list and there's only one part of the costume that has me completely stuck. Her skin. I mean, I'm not bronze by any means but I don't exactly look like a corpse either. Kayako is very pale, kind of grey really. I was thinking of powdering my skin but it would rub off and face paint would look ridiculous. ..to make clip in/on ponytails? usually I buy them pre-made but I'd like to know how to make them for further referrence. I know I've seen a tutorial somewhere, but since then I havn't been able to find it or anything close.

Natural Tan

Is there any way of getting rid of, even if temporarily, a natural tan?

As some of you might've seen at Auckgeddon, Moli is fairly tanned and her face looks horrible next to a blonde wig. Is there a way to get rid of a tan? I need it for next year's cosplay.

If there is an obvious way to, I does not know. Because I'm a make-up n00b. orz

Headpiece

I need to make a headpiece for a certain character, I have already worked out how to make it but the thing I'm having trouble deciding on is how to get the crown to stay on the headpiece without falling of. It looks like this: Spoiler: My original idea was to make the crown out paper magic clay and then glue it to the headband but I'm worried about the glue melting and losing stickiness, same with double sided tape. Help with Emperor Mateus' hair

I'm wanting to cosplay as Emperor Mateus from Final Fantasy II/Dissidia and I need help with his hair/wig. Making long hair short?

I know this sounds stoopid, but does anyone happen to know a ninja way to make long hair look short? As in, OTHER than cutting it. ^_^"

I know that you can twist it around and put it under a hat, with the ends sticking out the bottom (have done this before =]) but that tends to be very tricky and troublesome, and is very limiting. Anyone got ideas?

I need to buy a wig but the site I order from doesn't have the wig in the colour I need.

However, they have the style I want, but it white. Should I buy the
white wig and then colour it myself or just save up more and order
later?
I want to buy my wigs whilst my parents are overseas so I can get them cheaper and with very low shipping fee. If I order from someone else, I'll have to pay for it myself.

Yes...the stripes. You know it. It's practically impossible to dye a black wig to white (especially in such exact areas), and it would be very hard to dye a white wig everywhere except for the stripes... I bought a wig of Ebay it's made of Modacrylic fibre, it's long (As in waist length long) and it tangles! The washing instructions say to apply something called 'Wig spray'. Then leave the wig to soak in the shampoo (What shampoo? Special wig shampoo or ordinary shampoo?) and water for 5 minutes before washing, then to spray on conditioner.
