The third show in the Stargate franchise. We're 7 episodes in and I'm still watching. Just. I hope it gets going soon. I'm feeling very SciFi starved right now, which is why I'm watching this. Anyone know any reeeeeeeal good ones ? I love horror < 3 in general. It doesn't have to have an original storyline or anything. . cause I watch it for the lulz. Am I the only Higurashi fan that was disappointed by this movie? First thing, the cast, They got some pretty boy to go Keiichi. They got some older girls to do Rika and Satoko, That disappointed me, I wanted cute chibi 6 year old actors. However, I did like the location it was filmed, It was so perfect for Hinamizawa. I do like them, but I hardly ever watch series' or movies on the TV as I fail at TV. They're so appealing visually and generally have very decent storylines and strong characters~ orz

500 Day of Summer

I watched this yesterday, and absolutely loved it. It was both sad and happy, but for the most part it showed Reality, something most movies don't do.

Deschanel (Summer) performed extraodinarily well, especially for what I think her first role as a co-star. Unless Yesman counts.

And the music was fantastic!

Everyone should watch this, it's in our cinemas now.

What'd you guys thinks?

So, I am watching the first season of Babylon 5. I downloaded it at a recommendation ages ago, but never got 'round to it till now.

Tbh, I was immediatly put off by the early-nineties CGI, but once I got past that little aversion, this show RAWKS.

Just wondering if anyone else is attending this years 24hr Movie Marathon in Auckland?
It's gonna be pretty crazy. Never attended before (R18 event), but flying down from Christchurch to experience it.
This will be a Halloween to be remembered. My schoolwork, on the other hand, is going to suffer.

I just wanted to make a topic saying how amazingly awesome these two movies are.

THEY ARE AMAZINGLY AWESOME.

If you have not seen either of these, then go out and rent/buy/steal them.
I watched Donnie Darko at about 10pm, then stayed up 'til 4am afterwards thinking..

"Wth."
And then went Snowboarding at 7am. Fun times.

But yes! GREAT MOVIES!
So watch them, or feel my displeasure.
