Anyways, anybody ready for H!ACP?



So. I was thinking it should be done during the armageddon weekend - that way people traveling up from other places other than auckland can come C:
It wouldn't exactly be halloween but its near enough 8D

The problem is, when and where.
Friday? Saturday? Sunday? Monday?
Late afternoon, night?

Another problem would convenience of location.
I could hold the party at my gym - but it will only be available on sunday and maybe saturday. My family's gym can probably hold 30-50 people. IDK. Maybe more. XD;
Its also near the Avondale train station - from britomart transport station you can go straight to the Avondale train stop via the western line.

Or we could get a hall for hire somewhere... im not too sure we can in the city though :/

So. Suggestions on place and date/time 8D

Then us organisers shall prepare the rest.... if they're willing ^^;

Friday night! Actually I thought thats when it was gonna be? But then since half of us are arriving who knows what time during that day hmmm
Oh yeah geddon is 3 days including Monday... eeeeeee I dunno oO'

I'd assume it would be kinda night whichever day it'll be anyway I mean geddon doesn't close till 6pm...
Oh... we gota sort out what day we would be having the cosplay (& VA hopefully) dinner... we gota not clash with that D=

The dinners on Saturday right? Do it on Sunday and hold it at Tammy's gym and have a huge sleepover! That way I only have to bring Tifa *shot*

But yeah. I'm pretty keen. It would depend on where and when it is though

AFAIK there's no date set for the dinner yet...?
it depends if we're can get the VA's to come, cause if we can, then we can't have it on the cocktail night... so dinners either a sat or sun... or monday which would be our last option since most leave after geddon that day (I think? Iunno?)
edit: nm, it looks like the cocktail night is friday anyway.

a place thats easy to get to for those that have no transport... so on/close by a bus/train route? Having said this its probably gonna be dark when we hold this... ...oO'

I dont know Auckland (then again I dont know Chch either >>) but anyway, so if you're in the city how would you get to Avondale? i dont even know what side of the city its on... is the britomart station in the city?

and how much is it to catch a train anyway? oO

To get to Avondale from Britomart is about lease than $2. I know it's something just over $2 to get to Henderson and that's 4 stage. Avondale is either 2 or 3 stage.

Plus Tammy is REALLY close to Avondale train station, so it wouldn't take us long to walk there.

Britomart is at the bottom of queen street. From the Aotea Centre it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk down to Britomart.

Adult prices are usually around about $4 from Britomart to Avondale. (3 stage)
You take the western line straight to Avondale :3

Im not too sure about the times on Sunday. I have to go find my timetable o_o;;

Satuday or Sunday are the best I think...when most are likely to come...
The date of the dinner is kinda dependent on when the VA's can make it (again if they can.) We give them a choice and they say which suits them.
I dunno if you wanna wait for that or plan ahead...

I can ask all my lot if they're coming and when they'd prefer etc so you can get an idea of numbers at this stage?

and times well I'm guessing after geddon, so thats 6ish... thats as long as geddon doesn't have anything lots of people will wanna see. You know how they show a movie or something after on one of the days...

so we could make it 7pm? eeeeeeeee I'll just throw a random time out there...
if everyone wants to go straight from geddon to you gym... oh we could all travel together. But then everyone would have to bring their halloween costume with them to geddon for the day... Oh no what about food? oO would we each bring food too...

Im not too sure :/ It depends on the trains as well - im not too sure if they run that late.
And food, I can get it but people participating would need to pay about $3-$5.

I'm doing Halloween Town!Olette, which is a Wa-loli thing, so my giant petticoat will be fun to carry around... :\ My only issue with sunday night is that it's right before the competition, so I dunno about you guys, but I'll probably be trying to spam finish my costume. And how would we decorate if we were going straight there from geddon? o_O If we do go straight from geddon, could we gather and catch the train in a group? {is a train n00b/security freak/paranoid}

oh yeah IIIIIIII didn't think that far. We could just throw some stuffs up there when we arrive? EVERYONE DECORATE YEAH TEAM WORK!

and could you not hand your petticoat in at the info desk thingie? Lol thats what I did when I was changing costumes at the chchcontest, I gave them costume, sword and everything xD
