CNZ. Cosplay New Zealand.

We've come a long way since we first started in late 2007, growing bigger than anyone had thought back then-- what're we at now, 750-ish members?-- and becoming a community that both cosplayers and New Zealand can be proud of. It's been a difficult year with lots of changes, but as such a tight-knit and amazing community we've pulled through thick and thin, forged friendships and supported each other whenever the need arose.

I promise I'll stop being soppy soon, guys.

So, the mods wanted to give something back to the amazing cosplay community of New Zealand, and have plotted/schemed/finangled an amazing event otherwise know as the CNZ Yuletide Tournament!

A series of challenges posed to the different sections of the NZ cosplay scene, this is a creative, fun way for everyone to battle it out (AS FRIENDS), have a few laughs and most of all; enjoy doing what we love! Which is cosplay. Yes.

It'll run from Nov. 24th - the anniversary of CNZ's creation - to Dec. 24th. Points will be awarded after the final submissions of each challenge and added to a running total for each area. THE WINNAR? WHO KNOWS!

THERE'LL BE PRIZES. THERE'LL BE AWARDS. AND THERE'LL BE MEMORIES CREATED YOU WILL NEVER FORG-- wait, sorry, soppy mode again-- um. EAT GLASS AND BE MANRY.
